Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er in der Reserve-Sanit\u00e4ts-Kompanie Nr. 6, 6. bayerische Reserve-Division. Zuletzt wurde in der 4. Kompanie des 2. Infanterie-Regiments eingesetzt.
