Kompanie des 13. Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments als Infanterist. AM 18.06.1918 fiel er im Alter von 20 Jahren bei Soissons, genauer gesagt bei <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vauxbuin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vauxbuin<\/a>, w\u00e4hrend der Stellungsk\u00e4mpfe der 11. bayerischen Infanterie-Division zwischen Oise, Aisne und Marne in Frankreich.<\/p>\n<p>Auch wenn offiziell keine Grablage f\u00fcr Johann Schmid bekannt ist, gehe ich fest davon aus, dass er namenlos auf dem Soldatenfriedhof <span data-sheets-value=\"{&quot;1&quot;:2,&quot;2&quot;:&quot;Vauxbuin&quot;}\" data-sheets-userformat=\"{&quot;2&quot;:1049089,&quot;3&quot;:{&quot;1&quot;:0},&quot;12&quot;:0,&quot;23&quot;:1}\" data-sheets-formula=\"=HYPERLINK(&quot;https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/GL8d6y8wZ2M2&quot;;&quot;Vauxbuin&quot;)\"><a class=\"in-cell-link\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/GL8d6y8wZ2M2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vauxbuin<\/a> in einem Massengrab beigesetzt worden ist.
