Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er im 13. bayerischen Infanterie-Regiment, laut Verlustliste Brigade-Ersatz-Bataillon 11, 4. Kompanie. Am 22.06.1915 fiel er im Alter von 30 Jahren bei <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ban-de-Sapt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ban de Sapt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Offiziell ist die Lage des Grabes von Leonhard Gr\u00f6ber unbekannt.
