Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er in der 14. Reserve-Pionier-Kompanie des 4. Reserve-Pionier-Bataillons. Am 24.09.1915 fiel er im Alter von 22 Jahren bei Fresnoy.<\/p>\n<p>Offiziell ist f\u00fcr Georg Stampfl keine Grablage bekannt.
