Im Ersten Weltkrieg k\u00e4mpfte er in der 20. bayerischen Pionier-Kompanie. Er wurde mit dem Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse ausgezeichnet. Am 10.10.1915 fiel er im Alter von 23 Jahren bei <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Givenchy-en-Gohelle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Givenchy-en-Gohelle<\/a> in der franz\u00f6sischen Region Arras.<\/p>\n<p>Offiziell ist keine Grablage f\u00fcr Karl Wei\u00df bekannt.
