Er lebte sp\u00e4ter im benachbarten Schatzbach, einem Ortsteil der bayerischen Gemeidne <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bad_Birnbach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bad Birnbach<\/a>. Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er in der 6. Kompanie des 2. bayerischen Infanterie-Regiments. Am 13.03.1917 fiel er im Alter von 26 Jahren im Wald von Apremont und Ailly w\u00e4hrend der erfolgreichen Abwehr eines Angriffs der Franzosen auf dem linken Fl\u00fcgel des Regimentes durch Herzschuss.<\/p>\n<p>Johann R\u00f6hrner wurde zun\u00e4chstauf dem Friedhof Servonieres begraben.
