Im Ersten Weltkrieg k\u00e4mpfte er als Ersatz-Reservist in der 6. Kompanie des 16. bayerischen Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments. Am 13.03.1915 fiel er im Alter von 24 Jahren bei <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neuve-Chapelle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Neuve Chapelle<\/a> und Biez\u00a0durch schwere Verwundung.<\/p>\n<p>Offiziell ist f\u00fcr Valentin Scheibl keine Grablage bekannt. Ich gehe jedoch davon aus, dass er anonym in einem Massengrab auf dem Soldatenfriedhof <span data-sheets-value=\"{&quot;1&quot;:2,&quot;2&quot;:&quot;Lens-Sallaumines&quot;}\"
