Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er als Infanterist in der 8. Kompanie des 15. bayerischen Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments. Am 05.05.1915 fiel er im Alter von 24 Jahren bei Saint-Mihiel.<\/p>\n<p>Die Lage des Grabes von Anton Fertl ist offiziell unbekannt. Ich vermute jedoch, dass seine sterblichen \u00dcberreste, wenn sie geborgen werden konnten, anonym in einem Massengrab auf dem Soldatenfriedhof <span
