Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er als Landsturmmann in der 10. Kompanie des 15. bayerischen Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments. Am 20.09.1917 fiel er im Alter von 31 Jahren im franz\u00f6sischen Flandern.<\/p>\n<p>Die Lage des Grabes ist unbekannt.
