Im Ersten Weltkrieg diente er als Soldat im 4. bayerischen Pionier-Bataillon. Am 05.02.1918 fiel er im Alter von 31 Jahren durch schwere Verwundung.<\/p>\n<p>Die Lage des Grabes von Jakob Lober ist unbekannt.
