Er wurde am 28.02.1888 geboren. Von 1908 bis 1910 leistete er seinen Wehrdienst beim 20. bayerischen Infanterie-Regiment ab. Im Ersten Weltkrieg k\u00e4mpfte er als Reservist in der 2. Kompanie des 15. Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments. Am 07.07.1915 fiel er bei den K\u00e4mpfen vor Verdun im Bois le Vaux.
